Bandits abduct schoolgirls in Zamfara By Ade Smith  Oknewsonline February 26, 2021 Armed bandits have invaded a girls’ school in Zamfara, abducting at least three hundred students. The Oknewsonline  reported on Friday morning that the mass abduction occurred overnight, saying parents of some of the students have confirmed the development. The abduction came barely a few weeks after hundreds of schoolboys were abducted in Katsina by bandits, drawing nationwide uproar. Nine days ago, bandits breached a high school in Niger State and seized about 29 students and school administrators.

A Bill To Establish Federal Eye Specialist Center Illeh Passes First Reading In House of Representatives - Edionwele Abuja FCT 25th February 2021 A Bill to establish The Federal Eye Specialist Center, Illeh Edo State on Wednesday passed first reading in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly. The bill sponsored by Hon Joe Edionwele, member representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency, seeks to create a legal framework for the operation and administration of the Federal Health Facility in Illeh as allowed under the extant laws. Leading the debate earlier, Hon. Edionwele said that the crux of the bill was to cloth the ongoing  institute at Illeh in Edo State with legal status. According to him, "this is to enable it operate maximally as a government agency with all its requisite authority within the bounds of the law", he stated. This morning I read on the news paper  that the bandits that are responsible for the school children kidnapping, refused to collect the  ransom given to them ...and requested that the state vigilante should be abolish that if the government doesn't listen to them and do what they want, they will be killing the school boys one by one.  Just imagine the way criminals are giving...
