BREAKING NEWS: ESAN WEST LOCAL GOVERNNENT LEGISLATIVE MEMBERS PETITION TO PASS VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, ESAN WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT, EKPOMA- HON. (MRS) RUTH OSAHON OKUNWE.
Arising from the meeting of the undersigned Councilors, we hereby pass a vote of no confidence on the Executive Chairman, Esan West Local Government, Hon (Mrs) Ruth Osahon Okunwe for acts of gross misconduct outlined as follows:

Misappropriation of funds,
Incompetence to handle issues of the Local  good,
Lack of accountability
Multiple Revenue accounts,
Deliberate refusal to honor several invitations to the Legislative Chamber to account for her stewardship since her inception in office in line with Section 33 of the Edo State Local Government Law 2000 as amended in 2002.
After proper deliberation, we wish to state emphatically that we can no longer put up with her frivolous and unbecoming activities. 
We therefore move for the commencement of the process for her impeachment.
