EYO Completes Tour Of Senator Ordia's Projects in Edo Central

The planned tour of Senator Clifford Ordia's Projects around Esanland was carried out yesterday and today by Esan Youths Organization (EYO) Executive Council led by Comrade Kingsley Ohens.

The independent confirmation of projects facilitated by Esan Political Office Holders from the top to the bottom is aimed at confirming the workings of elected officers and for record purpose. 

The exercise commenced this January with the tour of Hon. Joe Edionwele's projects in Okpebho Federal Constituency and followed by Hon Sergius Ogun's of Agbazilo Federal Constituency and now that of the Distinguished Senator.

The tour of Senator Ordia's project took the EYO officials round the five local government areas of the Senatorial District.

Projects inspected includes: school buildings, hostel facilities, water projects, road construction, electrification projects, health facilities, etc.

Observations in course of the tour pointed to lack of maintenance most especially clearing of project sites as some of the facilities are left in the bush unkept.

The EYO however thanked the Distinguished Senator for his purpose driven representation. "He has done well for his people", one of the EYO officials told reporters.

The EYO further called on the host communities to take the projects in their dormain as their own and maintain their surroundings through communal effort to keep them in good shape.

Esan Youths Organization also called on the local government council Chairmen where the health facilities and other projects in their jurisdiction are located to make addequate use of the projects as well as support in areas of security and maintenance of the facilities.

The tour shall continue with projects of the LGA Chairmen and the Councillors starting with that of Igueben LGA next week.

A Pictorial Compendium of all the comfirmed projects shall  be published by EYO after the tour is completed.
