CONDOLENCE VISIT: Osas Oboh, a chairmanship aspirant of Esan West Local Government Area,
paid a Condolence Visit to the former Deputy Senate President, senator Ike Ekweremadu yesterday at his Abuja residence. The visit followed the shocking news of the demise of senator Ekweremadu's elder brother, chief Mathias Ekweremadu.
Osas Oboh who lead a company of his friends and campaign team members on the condolence visit to the former Deputy Senate President, condoled with the senator; the younger brother of the deceased, over the incidence of his brother's death.
Osas, described the death as unfortunate and a great loss to the Ekweremadu family, the Government of Enugu State, and the entire people of the state.
The Esan West Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Osas Oboh, said he was devastated when he received the sad news of the death of Ekweremadu’s elder brother, Chief Mathias Ekweremadu.
He urged Senator Ekweremadu and other members of the Ekweremadu family to take solace in his legacies and contributions to humankind, and that the late Transport Commissioner, who was former Chairman of Aninri Local Council and former Chief Whip of the State House of Assembly and represented Aninri Constituency, between 2013 and 2019, lived a worthy life and served the nation, Enugu State and humanity meritoriously.
Responding, senator Ekweremadu, on behalf of his family, thanked Osas Oboh for finding time out of his tight schedule to visit and commiserate with him. Senator Ekweremadu stressing that such show of solidarity and concern in such distressing time is deeply appreciated.
