RT. HON MARCUS ONOBUN SPEAKER EDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, Called on the State Police Commissioner and other Relevant Security Agencies to address the Menace of Herdsmen in the State.

Deputy Speaker cries out on the menace of herdsmen attacks in Orhionmwon, call on relavant authority to take the needed actions.
 Deputy Speaker Roland Asoro drew the attention of the House to the menace of herdsmen in parts of Orhionmwon .

He said six  persons including a head of vigilante outfit in Ugo, Orhionmwon local government were killed by suspected herdsmen  last week .

He called on the state police commissioner and other relevant security agencies to address the issue.

Similarly, member representing Esan South East.  Hon. Sunny Ojiezele while supporting the motion also drew the attention of the House on abductions and killings in the his constituency by suspected herdsmen.

The Speaker directed that clean copies of the resolution be sent to the state  governor and other relevant security agencies.
