The Speaker, Principal officers and members of Edo State House of Assembly commensurate with their Delta state counterpart on the death of the Majority leader of Delta state House of Assembly. Hon. Tim Kome Owhefere*

The Speaker Rt Hon. Marcus Onobun at a valedictory session in honor of the late Majority leader of Delta State House of Assembly, condoles with the speaker, honorable members of the Delta state  government of Delta State led by H.E Sen. Dr. Ifanyi Okowa and the immediate family of the late Majority leader.

The Speaker said it was in the agenda of the house to find time to come Merry and appreciate the Delta state government for the role  played during the past Edo State governorship election that brought back the administration of H.E Governor Godwin Obaseki for a second term.

But it is so unfortunate that the cold hands of death have brought down one of our own. we are deeply saddened with the demise of the majority leader of the Delta state House of Assembly. 

We pray that the almighty God will grant the departed soul eternal rest and give the leadership of the Delta state House of Assembly, Delta State government and the bereaved family  the fortitude to bare this great loss. He added.
