  I have the great pleasure to convey my sincere congratulation and best wishes to Your Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki and the entire  People of my dear State as we celebrate our 30th anniversary today.

I wish this year's anniversary will provide us with the rare opportunity to reflect kindly on the vision of the state's founding fathers, which was hinged on growth, prosperity, development, and peaceful co-existence where every single citizen can pursue their happiness as a law-abiding individual. 

I must not forget to salute our former governors of the state since its creation.
