Ahead of the 2023 Federal house of representatives election in Edo State, His Royal Majesty, Uwuigbowen  Dominic Otoikhine I , the Onojie of Urohi Kingdom, has offered royal prayers on a foremost House of Representatives aspirant for Okpebholo Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Godsent Akhabue JP aka JOEFEL.

The monarch who poured out his heart in prayers on Hon. (Dr.) Felix Akhabue and his entourage, advising him to continue to be a man who his words remain his bond.

The royal father went down memory lane, recalling how his father always told him positive things about the good works and attributes of JOEFEL.

The House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Felix Akhabue aka JOEFEL in his brief remarks congratulated the Onojie on its Kingdom annual festival and thanked him for the kind prayers, saying he was in the race to change the fortune of the constituency for good.

He also prayed that the almighty God will keep the monarch strong and healthy to witness his tenure as House of Representatives Member representing the people of Okpebholo Federal Constituency

”Your Majesty Sir, the great God that has made you King, I pray will keep you to witness my victory and tenure as House of Representatives Member representing our dear Okpebholo Federal Constituency come 2023.”

“I am in the race to change the fortunes of our Constituency for the better. It will not be cheap and empty talk. But my tenure as Federal legislature will be a clear narrative of service to the people and the constituency “. He recalled the contributions he made to ensuring the completion of Urohi Electricity project that was almost a mirage before his tenure as the Council Chairman in which liabilities he had to take up in sponsorship from the contractor even though it was a federal project because all that concerns him was the value the project would have for the people, together with the construction of some classroom blocks and fencing of some primary schools in Urohi kingdom. He assured the monarch that the kingdom would feel and see more of the Federal legislative presence when elected into the Green Chamber come 2023. 

“They call me the team player because I relate with all that comes my way, this team playing character I shall deploy in facilitating reasonable infrastructure to your kingdom. My father ,Your Majesty Sir, I thank you graciously for your pieces of advise. And we will work with them “he ended.

The Director General of JOEFEL For Okpebholo Campaign Organization, Barr. Victor Idiakhoa also thanked the monarch for the warm reception. 

The Federal House of Representatives hopeful also met briefly with other PDP stakeholders, leaders, and elders in Urohi ward-8.
