HON FELIX GODSENT AKHABUE (AKA JOEFEL) 

 ACHIEVEMENTS 

AS ESAN WEST  LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN 

WITHIN 2 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS IN OFFICE

Ward-1: construction and commissioning of A water Borehole beside the Onojie's palace in Ogwa, and the construction of a Comprehensive Health Care Center.

 *Ward-2'* Construction and commissioning of a comprehensive health center at Ujorgba, and opening of a link road to Ebute-Ujogba.

*Ward-3'* Construction and commissioning of a Comprehensive Health Center at Ukhun Kingdom, the fencing of Ukhun primary school, and a Comprehensive Health care center in Egoro Amede, and also addressing the School in Idoa that fell victim to the rains disaster. 

*Ward-4:* Construction and equiping of a standard Comprehensive ICT Center at the Barracks road with a sound proof generator, Completion and furnishing of the Library Complex at the same Barracks road, Construction and furnishing of a Comprehensive Health care center at Emaudo-Ekpoma, Construction of a standard / modern Secretariat Office Complex  at the Council Secretariat, patching of Potholes in all township roads in Ekpoma, Construction of a block of some classrooms at Emaudo Primary School, Construction of a 3-classroom blocks at Ikekogbe Primary School in Ekpoma, Fencing of Eguare Primary School in Ekpoma, fencing of Uwendova primary school in Ekpoma, Renovation and Fencing of the High Court Complex in Ekpoma, Construction of a modern Magistrate Court Complex along the Police Barrack road in Ekpoma, Construction of 2-block of 3-class rooms at Emiala Primary School in Uwen"Oboh, reclamation of the Dump site beside the High Court in Ekpoma and Constructing the Industrial Borehole beside the High Court in Ekpoma, and the Construction of a Modern Comprehensive Health care center at the same place beside the High Court complex. Also the Construction of a 3-classroom blocks at the Ukpughele Primary School, beside the Anglican Cathedral Church in Ekpoma. Again, so many Transformers were purchased and distributed across the entire length and breadth of the City center that were experiencing blackout then ranging from Ikhirolo junction, Afua, Emaudo, Ikekogbe, Judges quarters, NEPA line, etcetera, etcetera. 

*Ward-5:* Construction Of a Comprehensive Health care center inside / beside Ihumudumu Primary school, Construction & Adpharting with 2-sides drains of The long abandoned Popular G-2 Road in Ihumudumu, Construction of a town hall for Elders of Ihumudumu gbigbe at Ihumudumu, Construction of a block of 3-class rooms at Idumebolo Primary school, Construction of a block of 3&classrooms at Ujemen Primary School, etc, etc,.

*Ward-6:* Construction of a block of 3-classrooms at the Central Primary school in Iruekpen, Construction of a block classrooms at Abia Primary School in Iruekpen, Completion and furnishing of the Library Complex, and an ICT Center in Abia-Iruekpen, Construction of a Comprehensive Health care center at Ughodin-Iruekpen, atc, etc.  

*Ward-7:* Construction of 2-block of 6-classrooms and fencing of Ukpenu Primary School, Construction of a block of 3-classrooms, and fencing of Ujoelen Primary school, Completion of the Comprehensive Health care center at Ujoelen, Construction and aspharting of the Ezekiel School of Theology road linking Ujoelen & Ukpenu, Fencing of Igor Primary school in Emuhi, Fencing of Emuhi Primary school and construction of a block of 3-classrooms therein, Completion of Igor / Emuhi Electricity project that was long abandoned for decades,cans also the Construction of a skill aquisition Center at Akugbe Secondary school ground in Igor/Emuhi.

*Ward-8'* construction and renovation of a health care center in Urohi & the construction of a block of 3-class rooms at ohogho & the primary school beside the Catholic Church before Eguare Urohi.

*Ward-9'* Construction of a Comprehensive Health care Center in Uhiele, Electrification of part of Úkpoke Road, Construction of a block of 3-class rooms at Idumigun primary school in Uhiele, also the Construction of a block of 3-ckassrooms at Ebhoakhuala Primary school, in Uhiele.. 

*Ward-10:* Construction of a block of 3-classrooms at the 2-primary schools in Illeh, and mainly, the Construction & Aspgarting of Imule-Illeh / Idumebo-Irrua road in conjuction with Esan Central L.G. Council. 

Also, withing the period under review, The Council under Joefel Administration purchased a brand new Pay loader, a customied Audi car for physically challenged staff of the council. Payment of Bursary / Tuition fees to Esan West graduating students and qualified for the Law school. Also, salaries were paid as and when due to the Council staff including their allowances,and also, sponsorship were granted deserving staff to trainings, conferences, seminers, and even to the Popular ASCON in Badagry, and the Buecuma Council school in Akoko Edo to sustain & increase efficiency among the council staff. 

Again, The political office holders were well & adequately taking care of, together with the Political leaders. 

Don't forget before ever stepping into public leadership / political life, he has ever remain an outstanding & very successful business man in Hospitality, Supermarkets, Pharmaceuticals, Farming in poultries & fishries. Till date, he manages over 259 staff under his payroll.

Again, *He was voted in as a council chairman, but ended up as a South south zonal chairman & National publicity secretary of ALGON, later as the National President of ALGON, and later as President of United Cities and Local government of West Africa, Thereafter as President of the United Cities and Local government of Africa, then later as First Vice President Commonwealth / World Conference of Mayors..

*All these projects were adequately Commissioned by the state government and are there till date for verifications.
