The Ebakota Movement welcomes the news of the likely decision of Senator Clifford Ordia stepping down his third tenure bid. As we have always noted, he as a legislator, has the constitutional right to aspire for the position as many times as possible and has also tried his best by making Esan people proud. 

Unfortunately for this third term aspiration, it is against the gentleman's agreement of rotating the elective positions amongst the various local governments in the Senatorial District.

The Ebakota Movement apluads Senator Clifford Ordia for listening to wise counselling and taking the course of being counted amongst Esan men who keep to the spirit of Ebakota.
We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and pray that any other person thinking of a third tenure bid will do the needful just like Senator Clifford Ordia and Rt. Hon. Sergius Ogun have done.
