The Ebakota Movement on Saturday 19th March, 2022 decorated the PDP number one leader in Esan West Local Government Area, Dr. F E. Ulinfun, as the patron of the group. In a brief ceremony in his house in Ekpoma, the group, praised Dr Ulinfun for standing firm on the agreement of "No Third Tenure" within the PDP in Edo Central Senatorial District. Dr Ulinfun, was  among the Esan leaders who met with the Late Chief Tony Anenih in 2007 to agree and implement the Ebakota principle in The PDP,  Edo Central Senatorial District.

Accepting the gesture, Dr F.E. Ulinfun, recalled the bitter fight against the Third Tenure ambitions of the incumbent NASS members in 2015. He noted that even the late National leader, Chief Tony Anenih, stood with Ebakota against his in-law, Senator Odion Ugbesia to ensure that the current Senator and his colleagues in the House of Representatives were victorious. He insisted that there exists a gentleman's agreement which the current members must respect. He promised to stand by The Ebakota Movement throughout the struggle.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and President of Ebakota Movement, Amb. Tony Okonigene, extolled the leadership virtues of Dr Ulinfun. He described him as one of the pillers of truth, equity and fairness, the PDP stands on today in Edo State.

Highpoint of the brief ceremony was the decoration of Dr Ulinfun as The Patron of The Ebakota Movement.

The delegation also paid courtesy visits to a Former Governorship Aspirant of the party Engr. Gideon Ikhine and The Senatorial Caucus Chairman, Arch. Bishop Anthony Okosun.

Engr. Ikhine, advised the members of The Ebakota Movement not to allow anyone confuse them as they are on the right part saying that the issue of Third Tenure remains a taboo in the Edo Central PDP.

On his part, the Senatorial Caucus Chairman, Arch. Bishop Anthony Okosun, thanked the delegation for the matured ways they have so far been carrying out their agitation. He promised that the party leadership in the Senatorial District, will at the appropriate time, act in the best interest of the party.
