I joined active politics in 1999 and I was a pioneer founding member of AD, AC, ACN, and now APC in Edo State.

Convictions Behind My Aspiration
 Is to make a law to enhance the well-being of my people, especially the unemployed youths who constitute the vast majority, the elderly who are without care and social security, and the working class/civil servants who are struggling hard to make ends meet in order to send their children to schools in hope of a brighter future.

Why are you called Ambassador?

Thanks for this question...you see when God is involved in your matter, he will always use men to honor you. Am not the conventional ambassador but the Ambassador of security!

Sir, talking about security 
Are you convinced that the various security agencies and other necessary stakeholders would ensure a free, fair and balanced credible general election

 *Hon Fidelis Odiase* 
You can’t do anything on earth without a reasonable level of risk and you have to place your risk where necessary or unavoidable. It is the work of the police and other security agencies to secure the process. We must believe they will do it; if we don’t believe that they will do it, then we have no business contesting. The people will also believe that they can and they will do it. The rest is left to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies. However, I am somebody who believes that INEC and the police will do well. Until it comes to the open that they cannot or will not do it, I will continue to believe that they will ensure the election is free and fair.

You will be contesting against two strong political parties in your state PDP and APC which you know have money to buy the people over at any time. Do you think you have what it takes to contend with these factors?

 *Hon Fidelis Odiase* 
On one side of the equation are all that you have said. The other side of the equation is the force of the people and you better don’t underrate the people. If there is a clash between the forces you have mentioned and the people, surely the people will prevail. Don't forget in the 2020 Edo State Governorship election how it was ended. The people's voices are the will of God. Am always proud of my people when they decide to do something, money doesn't move  them because 
 They believe that money is not everything.

Sir, you always advocate for a better Nigeria and how can it be achievable

Thank you for this question. A better Nigeria is possible and it will be easily achieved through Peter Obi and kwankwaso joint ticket because the two of them are the most credible candidates.

If the merger works out who do you prefer among the two  to be the president 

 *Hon Fidelis Odiase* 
Two of them are good and qualify to be the head of state but to me what is important now is for the two of them to come together and decide how to go about it. Kwankwaso is rooted and strong in the north and south politics while Peter Obi is more of the younger generation who are yearning for a better Nigeria like us and it has turned into a movement.

What is your advice for Peter Obi and Musa Kwankwaso

Like I said earlier they are the best thing to happen to Nigeria right now and I pray they understand how the New Nigerian Youths are hungry for them. My advice to them is that, they should always put Nigeria in mind in their planning and if Kwankwaso agrees to vice Peter Obi, Peter Obi should also consider using the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) as a political party to balance the merger and if Obi agrees to vice Musa kwankwaso, the Labour Party ( LP) will be political to be used also
